Job summary

Lane Electronics & Alarm Systems is seeking an on-site installer to grow hands-on experience across low-voltage systems such as fire alarm, access control, security, and CCTV. You will pull, route, terminate wiring, install devices, and support wiring for access control systems in a team environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of hands-on installation experience, can read blueprints, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of installation, electrical, low-voltage, or related hands-on experience preferred.
• Experience pulling, routing, and terminating low-voltage wire.
• Experience installing wired devices.
• Ability to read or understand blueprints and installation drawings.
• Ability to read and follow installation manuals and manufacturer instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, terminate, and organize low-voltage wiring.
• Install and trim out wired devices and system components.
• Install motion detectors, CCTV and surveillance cameras, security equipment, access control components, and fire alarm devices.
• Assist with wiring and installation of access control systems.
• Read and follow blueprints, installation drawings, manufacturer instructions, and equipment manuals.
• Apply basic electrical and low-voltage installation practices in the field.
• Troubleshoot basic wiring, device, and installation issues.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Work alongside technicians and other team members to complete projects safely and correctly.

Your New Role
