Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring three install technicians for CCTV and access control projects in Covington, GA. Technicians will install hardware on daily sites, meet the lead each morning, and ride in a company vehicle to jobsites. Work hours generally run 7-4 with OT common, on a Monday‑Friday schedule.

This is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity with onsite work. Ideal candidates will have experience with CCTV, low‑voltage wiring, Cat6/Cat5, and access control installation.

Qualifications

• Experience installing CCTV hardware and low‑voltage systems.
• Ability to handle daily hardware installation on multiple sites.
• Familiarity with Cat5/Cat6 cabling and access control wiring.

Responsibilities

• Install CCTV and access control hardware at various sites.
• Travel daily to jobsites and meet the lead at the office.
• Work with teams and reports to different leads per project.

Description

The main project is going to be installation of cctv and access conteol. They are looking to add 3 install technicians to the team. These techs will be installing the actual hardware on a daily basis. They have an in house programmer so they wouldn't necessarily pay more for someone who has the skill. Our techs will be working on different jobsites each day. They will meet their lead at the office each day and ride together in a company vehicle. They will likely be working on different teams and reporting to a different lead each day depending on the project they are assigned to.

Work hours vary depending on the project but are generally 7-4. OT is common. They work on a Monday-Friday schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
