Job summary

TEKsystems in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Commercial Security Installation Technician I to install and troubleshoot enterprise electronic security systems (door access, CCTV, intrusion) on client sites with a company vehicle.

You will run low voltage wiring, connect control panels, and ensure installations meet contract requirements. Prior experience in physical security and licensing is preferred; must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain required state licenses.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in physical security, fire alarm or low voltage installations.
• State licensing ability: Low Voltage D license or Alarm Installer Lic.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial electronic security systems at enterprise sites.
• Troubleshoot new installations to verify operation and codes compliance.
• Run electrical wiring, including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs.
• Connect control panels and conceal wiring; install security software.
• Complete miscellaneous job-site tasks and clean-up.

What to expect as a Commercial Security Installation Technician I:Install, commercial electronic security systems for enterprise commercial clients (door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, ect.)Troubleshoot new security installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfy codesDrive to client sites, with a company issued vehicle, to perform the system installation and confirm the system is operating effectively and meets contract requirementsRun electrical wiring; related activities to include drilling, trenching, and aerial runs.Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment and security software installation.Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned such as job-site clean-up

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
