Job summary

Signal AV is seeking a Low-Voltage Install Technician for in-person work in Excelsior, MN. The role focuses on field installation of low-voltage cabling, device mounting, and system setup for high-end residential AV, lighting, shading, and control environments.

You will pull and terminate cabling, configure networked devices, and troubleshoot field installations. A stable work history and hands-on skills are essential, with no nights or weekends and a standard 8am–4pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites.
• Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools.
• A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron).
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires.
• Build and lace equipment racks.
• Setup and configuration of devices.
• Understanding and setup of networks.
• Troubleshooting of devices.

• Low-Voltage Installation Technician

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.

Your Location:

• In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)
• 4440 Round Lake Rd West, Suite F7, Arden Hills, MN
• Projects typical around the Minneapolis suburbs, with a focus on the west

Your Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk)
• Mon-Fri from 8am to 4pm
• NO Nights/Weekends
