Overview

Evergreen Innovation Group, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a Low Voltage General Foreman to join our team in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee project execution, ensuring technical, quality, cost, and profitability objectives are met while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  2. Manage workforce planning, including hiring contract workers, tracking labor, completing timesheets, and addressing personnel issues.
  3. Lead and train teams, providing daily goals, supervision, and technical training to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
  4. Monitor job progress, manage costs using tracking reports and Bluebeam, and adjust crews and materials as needed.
  5. Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction, quality control, and open communication at assigned sites.
  6. Participate in pre- and post-bid meetings with Project Managers, Estimating, and Sales teams.
  7. Track moves, adds, and changes for job materials and labor, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
  8. Oversee materials management, including ordering supplies, setting up deliveries, and coordinating with the warehouse.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies, HR and safety regulations, and project documentation requirements.
  10. Conduct technical training classes to develop team skills and improve overall efficiency.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent listening, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Effective participation in a team environment.
  • Ability to contribute to a culture of safety in a construction environment.
  • Proficient computer skills are a plus.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow as a manager of field operations, working under the supervision of the Superintendent.
  • A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.
Minimum Requirements
  • 5 years of Low Voltage / Structured Cabling Experience.
  • 2 years in a field leadership role.
  • Driver’s License and clean record.
  • Strong preference for hyperscale data center experience.
  • Efficiently delegate tasks and manage teams to meet project goals.
  • Follow project processes while ensuring timeline commitments are met.
  • Communicate effectively through strong written and oral skills.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, timesheets, and change orders accurately.
  • Interpret project documents, including Scope of Work, Bill of Materials, blueprints, and schedules.
  • Mastery of all low voltage tools, equipment, and processes required with the ability to train others.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
