Qualifications

  • 2-5 years Low Voltage/Structured Cabling experience.
  • Experience in large, complex commercial projects.
  • Ability to train teams on low voltage processes.
  • Proficient in coordinating with customers, subcontractors and management.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project execution, ensuring cost, schedule and quality objectives are met.
  • Manage workforce planning, including hiring contract workers and timesheets.
  • Lead and train teams with daily goals and safety compliance.
  • Monitor progress and adjust crews and materials to meet needs.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and clear communication at sites.
  • Participate in pre- and post-bid meetings with PM, Estimating, and Sales.
  • Track moves, adds and changes for materials and labor with proper reporting.
  • Oversee materials management and coordinating deliveries.
  • Ensure adherence to HR, safety, and project documentation requirements.
  • Conduct technical training classes to develop team skills.

Low Voltage Foreman – Commercial Construction

Full Time Foreman/Lead Craft Worker | Denver, CO, US

Salary Range: $27.00 To $38.00 Hourly

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Foreman to lead onsite job coordination and management for commercial construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role ensures projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

The Low Voltage Foreman will oversee low voltage technician teams, manage work orders, and coordinate job site checklists to ensure successful project completion. This position requires expertise in structured cabling installation, as well as direct communication with customers, employees, subcontractors, and management to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee project execution, ensuring technical, quality, cost, and profitability objectives are met while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Manage workforce planning, including hiring contract workers, tracking labor, completing timesheets, and addressing personnel issues.
  • Lead and train teams, providing daily goals, supervision, and technical training to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Monitor job progress, manage costs using tracking reports and Bluebeam, and adjust crews and materials as needed.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction, quality control, and open communication at assigned sites.
  • Participate in pre- and post-bid meetings with Project Managers, Estimating, and Sales teams.
  • Track moves, adds, and changes for job materials and labor, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
  • Oversee materials management, including ordering supplies, setting up deliveries, and coordinating with the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HR and safety regulations, and project documentation requirements.
  • Conduct technical training classes to develop team skills and improve overall efficiency.
  • 2-5 years Low Voltage/Structured Cabling experience
  • Experience working in large, complex commercial construction projects
  • Efficiently delegate tasks and manage teams to meet project goals.
  • Follow project processes while ensuring timeline commitments are met.
  • Communicate effectively through strong written and oral skills.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, timesheets, and change orders accurately.
  • Interpret project documents, including Scope of Work, Bill of Materials, blueprints, and schedules.
  • Mastery of low voltage tools, equipment and processes with the ability to train
  • Professional working proficiency in English

Preferred Certifications (not required)

  • Level 1 OJT
  • BICSI certified Tech
  • Confined Space Certification

Pay Rate:

$27.00 - $38.00 / hour

  • 401K with 50% employer match up to first 5%
  • Insurance options including Medical plans with Flexible Spending and/or Health Savings Accounts, Disability, Dental and Vision
  • 8 Paid Holidays
  • 3 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) combining sick pay and vacation days
