Job Overview: The Systems Technician installs and repairs electrical systems, ensuring compliance with electrical codes. The role involves supervising and collaborating with team members on low voltage systems such as Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control, and Surveillance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, commission, and start-up low voltage systems
• Install and test low voltage devices and wiring
• Supervise and train helpers, installers, telecom techs, or electricians
• Instruct team members on tool operation, safety, and technical procedures
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely
• Attend foreman meetings and collaborate on inspections
• Troubleshoot and diagnose installation and programming issues

Qualifications:

• Current Fire Life Safety and ACE cards
• Proficiency in fire alarm, security, access control, and surveillance
• Effective communication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• EST Certification and NICET preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Communication, hearing, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 75 pounds, and working in various elements are required
