Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in low voltage cabling and/or fiber optic installation.
  • Proficient in fiber splicing, termination, and OTDR testing.
  • Experience with structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A) and cable management.
  • Equivalent low voltage/fiber certification preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, and technical documentation.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cables (single-mode) in commercial and industrial environments.
  • Run and terminate low voltage cabling including fiber.
  • Perform OTDR testing, fiber splicing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings on job sites.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and job site safety standards in compliance with industry regulations.
