Ideal candidates have door experience or low voltage electrical experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in the commercial door service industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of various door types, brands, and hardware.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency reading a tape measure and performing precise measurements.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair commercial doors and related hardware.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues, including springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install and configure door hardware, such as locks, handles, closers, and access control.
• Ensure safety and code compliance for all installations.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain repair processes.
• Maintain accurate service records and prepare reports.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and offer cost-effective solutions.
• Perform quality checks to meet company standards.
