Vortex Doors is seeking Service Technicians to join our team to install, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial and industrial doors and related hardware. This role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and responsive customer service.

The ideal candidate may have door experience or enter as an entry-level applicant. You will diagnose issues, communicate solutions, and document service visits with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in commercial door service is a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair commercial doors and hardware.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues such as springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install and configure door hardware including locks and access control.
• Ensure safety and building code compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain repair processes.
• Maintain records of service visits and installations.
• Troubleshoot and communicate cost-effective solutions to customers.
• Perform quality checks on installations and repairs.
