Job summary

EwingCole is seeking a Low Voltage Design Technician 1 to join our Philadelphia or Wayne office. The role focuses on project design, documentation and coordination of telecommunication, security, and AV systems under supervision.

You will build foundational technical knowledge while supporting the team in delivering clear drawings and coordinated documentation using Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office tools. Flexible/hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's degree or technical school certification in a related field.
• EwingCole currently utilizes Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and the Microsoft Suite software to deliver projects.

Responsibilities

• Documentation: Develops clear drawings and documentation including documenting existing conditions and assisting in the layout of Low Voltage (Telecom, Security and AV) Systems.
• Software: Demonstrates aptitude in the use of the necessary software to complete tasks.
• Building Technology: Actively acquire knowledge of technical terms and concepts.
• Project Delivery: Supports the project team in the delivery of project documentation.
• Quality Standards: Actively acquire knowledge of production and delivery standards.
• Sustainability: Develops understanding of sustainable concepts.
• Construction Administration: Gains exposure by participating in submittal reviews and site visits.
• Calculations: Performs engineering calculations under close supervision.
