Job summary

EwingCole seeks a Low Voltage Design Technician 1 in the Philadelphia or Wayne office. The role supports design, documentation and coordination of telecom, security, and AV systems under supervision of senior engineers.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or technical certification and familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office. This is a full-time, hybrid role with opportunities to grow technical knowledge and contribute to multi-disciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree or technical school certification in a related field.
• EwingCole currently utilizes Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and the Microsoft Suite software to deliver projects.

Responsibilities

• Documentation: Develops clear drawings and documentation including documenting existing conditions and assisting in the layout of Low Voltage (Telecom, Security and AV) Systems
• Software: Demonstrates aptitude in the use of the necessary software to complete tasks
• Building Technology: Actively acquire knowledge of technical terms and concepts
• Project Delivery: Supports the project team in the delivery of project documentation
• Quality Standards: Actively acquire knowledge of production and delivery standards
• Sustainability: Develops understanding of sustainable concepts
• Construction Administration: Gains exposure by participating in submittal reviews and site visits
• Calculations: Performs engineering calculations under close supervision
