Job summary

American Equipment Holdings is seeking a Wiring Controls Technician (Low Voltage) in Victorville, CA to install, wire, start-up, troubleshoot and test control systems for overhead cranes and hoists. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years hands-on experience with low voltage control systems in an industrial setting.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics; familiarity with NFPA 70 (NEC) and OSHA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage control systems on overhead cranes and hoists.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals to complete tasks accurately.
• Conduct functional testing and system commissioning to verify proper operation of controls and safety systems.
• Travel to customer sites within the territory as required (local/regional).
• Document work in service reports, parts used, and time tracking per company procedures.
