Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States is seeking an engineer to design and develop low voltage control systems for SF6 insulated circuit breakers, coordinating with product managers, electrical engineers, and mechanical designers to meet customer requirements.

You will guide a drafting team, assess feasibility of improvements, provide component recommendations, support production, and ensure safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience related to bills of materials, manufacturing, electrical engineering, and product design.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design low voltage control systems for SF6 insulated circuit breakers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical guidance in component selection to optimize system performance.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for improvements or modifications.
• Guide a drafting team to produce mechanical drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate with remote factories to ensure job success.
• Offer technical support to stakeholders and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
