Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a Data Technician II to install, maintain, and repair low voltage cable infrastructure in field settings. You will work with copper cabling, terminations, and structured cabling while ensuring safety and quality, and provide dependable customer service on job sites.

This role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work independently or with a team across multiple sites in Texas.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with basic hand and power tools on job sites.
• OSHA 10 preferred; safety first mindset in all tasks.
• Willingness to learn and follow industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain and repair copper cabling per standards.
• Bundle cables neatly and manage pathways (J-Hooks, trays, racks).
• Assist with structured cabling installation and maintenance.
• Ensure faceplates, labels and installations are neat and plumb.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain housekeeping on site.
