Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a Data Technician III to install, maintain, and repair low voltage cabling in a demanding work environment. You will run, pull, and terminate copper cables, ensuring neat, code-compliant installations and a professional finish.

The role requires familiarity with industry standards, safe use of hand and power tools, and the ability to work well both independently and with others. Previous cabling experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification preferred or required.
• Able to use basic hand and power tools safely on job sites.
• Committed to safety and adhering to industry standards.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.
• Able to read and follow basic drawings and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Install, run, pull, and terminate copper cabling.
• Bundle cables neatly and label faceplates per code.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems.
• Maintain tidy work sites and manage tools/materials to prevent loss.
• Ensure installs meet industry standards and professional appearance.
