Job summary

Next Level Technician in Brookfield, WI is seeking a Low Voltage Cable Technician – Structured Cabling with 2+ years of commercial/industrial experience. You will pull, terminate, and label cabling, test with standard testers, and install racks, patch panels, and security systems.

Applicants should have structured cabling and fiber optic experience; certifications such as BICSI, Lift, or OSHA are a plus. Willingness to travel within Wisconsin is required. Weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

2+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience.
Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred.
Fiber optic installation, termination, and/or splicing preferred.
BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus.
Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots) is expected.

Responsibilities

Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6, voice, data, security, paging, nurse call, and fiber optic systems.
Test installed cable with Fluke or similar testers.
Punch down voice and data jacks and perform cross-connects.
Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF.
Work safely on ladders/lifts and at heights.
Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts.
Install and support access control, CCTV, audio/visual, security, paging, nurse call systems.
