Job Description

We are seeking individuals with a strong aptitude for learning, excellent computer and math skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Candidates should possess great customer service and troubleshooting skills, with a strong work ethic being essential.

This position involves installing commercial network and low voltage infrastructure wiring, as well as testing, labeling, and troubleshooting wiring issues. Key responsibilities include:

1. Installing data equipment such as data racks, patch panels, and cable trays.
2. Performing cabling installations, including data (Cat 3, 5e, 6), voice, fiber optic, etc., in new and existing buildings.
3. Driving company vehicles and operating various tools, including hand and power tools, ladders, scissor lifts, and testing equipment.
4. Providing education to customers on the proper use of installed equipment and addressing their concerns.
5. Adhering to safety policies, reporting accidents, hazards, and equipment issues, and completing necessary paperwork such as checklists, timesheets, and service orders.
6. Working at heights, on poles, in confined spaces, outdoors, and in adverse weather conditions.
7. Installing devices for alarm systems, access control, A/V, and other systems.
8. Demonstrating self-motivation, team spirit, and effective time management skills.
9. Possessing a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and dependable transportation.
10. Passing a security background check to obtain a TOPS security license.
11. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
