Job description

Join to apply for the Low Voltage Cabling Technician role at Rx Technology.

This position involves installation of commercial network and low voltage infrastructure wiring, testing, labeling, and troubleshooting wiring issues. Key responsibilities include:

1. Installation of data equipment such as data racks, patch panels, and cable trays.
2. Performing cabling installations for data (Cat 3, 5e, 6), voice, fiber optic, etc., in new and existing buildings.
3. Driving company vehicles and operating tools like hand and power tools, ladders, scissor lifts, and testing equipment.
4. Providing education to customers on installed equipment and addressing their concerns.
5. Adhering to safety policies, reporting hazards, and completing paperwork such as checklists and logs.
6. Working at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and in various weather conditions.
7. Installing alarm, access control, A/V, and other systems.
8. Maintaining self-motivation, team spirit, and good time management skills.
9. Must have a valid Driver's license, clean driving record, and dependable transportation.
10. Must pass a security background check for a TOPS security license.
11. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
