Job summary

Instrata is looking for a skilled cabling installer in Spartanburg, SC to install, terminate, test, label and document various low-voltage cables and fiber. The role includes routing cables, building telecom spaces, and enforcing safety policies.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in telecom cabling, strong knowledge of ANSI/TIA/EIA standards and NEC, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 3–5 years experience installing cabling & telecom systems.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI/TIA/EIA cabling standards & NEC.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and climb.

Responsibilities

• Install cable pathways and cabling.
• Terminate, test, label and document cables.
• Dress and route cables to telecom closets and work outlets.
• Build out telecom and equipment rooms.
• Fire-stop penetrations.
• Test and document test results.
• Follow Environmental, Health & Safety policies.
• Report scope changes and issues to contacts.
