Job summary

Next Level Technician in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Mid-Level or Lead Low Voltage Cable Technician to install and test commercial structured cabling projects. You will work on CAT5e/CAT6 installations from rough-in through testing, install racks, patch panels, and organize MDF/IDF closets while communicating with customers on site.

The role requires 4+ years of cabling experience, strong troubleshooting skills, professional appearance, and the ability to read blueprints.

• Strong CAT5e/CAT6 pulling, termination, dressing, and testing.
• Ability to read blueprints and project documentation.
• Professional appearance and communication with customers on site.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, dress, label, and test commercial structured cabling systems.
• Perform CAT5e/CAT6 installations from rough-in through testing and closeout.
• Install racks, cabinets, patch panels, J-hooks, cable tray, and other support systems.
• Build out and organize MDF/IDF closets.
• Read and follow blueprints, prints, cable schedules, and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot cabling issues with minimal supervision.
• Lead or assist other technicians depending on experience level.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional installations.
• Follow all safety requirements.

Earn $20 - $28/hr while working on commercial structured cabling projects throughout the Charlotte market. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with steady local work, limited regional travel, and strong long-term growth potential.We are looking for experienced technicians who can hit the ground running.
