Job summary

Next Level Technician in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Low Voltage Cable Technician to install and maintain structured cabling systems. You will work on CAT6/CAT6A runs, test fiber, and read blueprints, with opportunities to learn through on-the-job training.

We offer weekly pay, competitive hourly wages ($20–$27/hr) based on experience, plus benefits, PTO, and bonuses for referrals. Must be able to travel within North Carolina and work safely at heights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience.
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems is preferred.
• Certifications such as BICSI, Lift, OSHA are a plus.
• Basic hand tools and PPE required.
• Working knowledge of telecom/data networks.
• Willingness to travel to job sites within North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT6/CAT6A cable
• Pull, terminate and test fiber optic cabling; fusion splicing a plus
• Test installed cable with Fluke or similar testers
• Punch down voice and data jacks
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF
• Work safely on ladders/lifts and heights
• Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts

Low Voltage Cable Technician – Structured Cabling – Greater Charlotte NC Area

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT6/CAT6A cable
• Pull, terminate and test fiber optic cabling. Fusion splicing experience is a PLUS
• Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
• Punch down voice and data jacks
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts

Requirements
