Next Level Technician is seeking a Lead Low Voltage Cable Technician to head a crew in Greensboro, NC. Earn up to $26/hr with weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for long-term growth on commercial cabling projects.

You will mentor junior technicians, ensure quality installations, and lead by example on site while coordinating with Project Managers to keep schedules on track.

Lead Low Voltage Cable Technician - Greensboro, NC

Join Next Level Technician as a Lead Cable Technician in Greensboro, NC! Earn up to $26/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and a long-term opportunity leading commercial structured cabling projects throughout the Triad.

We're looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in quality installations, can keep a crew productive, and leads by example on the jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small crew of structured cabling technicians on commercial projects
• Pull, route, terminate, label, and test CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
• Install and dress racks, cabinets, patch panels, ladder rack, J-hooks, and cable tray
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and cable pathway drawings
• Assign daily tasks and help ensure projects stay on schedule
• Perform cable testing and troubleshoot installation issues
• Maintain clean cable management and professional workmanship
• Communicate progress, material needs, and field issues with Project Managers
• Mentor junior technicians while remaining hands-on in the field
• Follow all OSHA and customer safety requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial structured cabling experience
• Previous Lead Technician or crew lead experience preferred
• Strong experience pulling, terminating, labeling, and testing CAT5e/CAT6 cable
• Ability to read construction drawings and work independently
• Experience leading crews while maintaining production and quality
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Basic low voltage hand tools and PPE
• OSHA 10 is a plus
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
