Job summary

Autonomai Recruitment is seeking a Wireless Engineer for a global trading firm. You will own the reliability and performance of latency-critical trading and communications stack, from Linux servers to RF links, with responsibilities across towers, data centres and remote sites.

You’ll build production-grade Python tooling, harden Linux environments, design basic networks and RF paths, and coordinate with vendors worldwide.

Qualifications

Strong Python in production environments.
Solid Linux systems skills in production environments.
Networking fundamentals: routing, VLANs, TCP/UDP, multicast.
RF basics: wireless propagation, antennas, interference, link troubleshooting.
Operational discipline: change control and vendor coordination across time zones.

Responsibilities

Build production-grade Python automation and internal tools.
Own Linux infrastructure end-to-end: BIOS/firmware, kernel tuning, CPU isolation, time sync, deployments.
Design and support networking basics underpinning trading: routing, VLANs, multicast/unicast.
Work with RF fundamentals: wireless signals, antennas, interference, link performance for critical paths.
Manage remote devices and infrastructure with change control, incident response, and vendor coordination.
Travel to towers, data centres and remote sites and participate in global on-call rotation.
