Job summary

Radley James is seeking a Network Engineer for a leading quantitative trading fund expanding its live, ultra-low latency infrastructure across US hubs. You will own, automate, and optimize the live tower network and support field operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining topology maps and health monitors, building Python automation and telemetry pipelines, real-time troubleshooting, and guiding field crews on upgrades and path optimization. Hybrid work offered with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in RF, telecom, or networking.
• Strong Python automation experience used by engineers and data pipelines.
• Solid RF fundamentals and network engineering knowledge.
• Proficiency with Linux/UNIX, shells, and git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain live topology maps, path visualizers, and health monitoring to ensure zero packet loss across line-of-sight routes.
• Build production-grade Python automation scripts and telemetry pipelines that proactively identify potential connectivity degradation.
• Perform real-time troubleshooting, outage response, and performance tuning on microsecond-sensitive, production infrastructure.
• Direct field crews, vendors, and tower operators on physical upgrades, spectrum adjustments, and path optimization.
