Job summary

LinuxCareers is seeking a Software Developer (Market Setup) to onboard trading venues onto the platform, from initial scoping to the first live trade. You will design connectivity, adapt connectors to venue protocols, and validate data across venues.

You will work in remote/hybrid environments, collaborating with international teams. Strong C++ skills and Linux internals knowledge are essential to succeed in this role and deliver low-latency trading infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++ and data structures/algorithms.
• Solid understanding of Linux system internals.
• Excellent written and spoken English for international collaboration.
• Ability to perform in remote/hybrid environments with project-based responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Onboard trading venues onto our platform from scoping to first live trade.
• Design connectivity infrastructure including network and security patterns.
• Adapt market data and order entry connectors to venue-specific protocols.
• Validate data completeness and accuracy across venues.
• Measure latency and tune performance for sub-microsecond targets.
• Execute certification tests and support go-live activities.
• Document procedures and train trading desk/ops teams.
