Job summary

SanMar is seeking an Expeditor to coordinate daily workflow in the warehouse, deploying resources to meet goals and maintain efficiency. The role involves monitoring restock volumes, estimating task times, and communicating with leadership to ensure smooth operations.

The position requires 4–6 years of warehouse/distribution experience, reading and identifying colors/SKUs, basic math, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills for counting and quantity.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Lift Operator Certification may be required per OSHA.
• Excellent organization and multi-tasking.
• Strong attention to detail.
• RF unit familiarity and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor restock volume and number of orders to assign tasks to warehouse employees.
• Understand internal processing schedules and estimate time to complete the job.
• Communicate daily with leadership and coworkers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Train and coach employees on production guidelines, techniques and safety.
• Interact with other business units to achieve goals.
• Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.
• Complete tasks efficiently while working independently with minimal supervision.
• Inspect assigned equipment daily and manage checkout/return.
• Operate powered lift equipment if required.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
