Job summary

Synergy HomeCare is seeking an exceptional caregiver to provide in-home care to clients in the Kingwood/Conroe area of Texas. The role emphasizes dignity, patience, and compassionate assistance with daily activities.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of caregiving experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while following a defined care plan. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with ADLs.

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

SYNERGY HomeCare of Conroe is seeking an exceptional, highly skilled, and compassionate caregiver to provide outstanding in-home care to a client in the Kingwood, Texas area.

We are looking for more than someone to fill a shift. We want a caregiver who takes pride in their work, demonstrates excellent caregiving skills, anticipates client needs, and understands the importance of providing care with dignity, patience, and compassion.

Our ideal candidate is dependable, experienced, professional, and confident working independently while maintaining excellent communication with the client, family, and office team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, hands‑on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.

• Provide safe mobility assistance, transfers, and positioning within the caregiver's training and authorized care plan.

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.

• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social engagement.

• Follow the established care plan and maintain client safety at all times.

• Recognize changes in the client's condition, behavior, or needs and promptly communicate concerns to the office.

• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate professionally with family members and the SYNERGY HomeCare team.

• Demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to anticipate and respond appropriately to client needs.

Exceptional Qualifications

• At least 6 months of previous professional caregiving experience with a strong understanding of personal care and ADLs.

• Demonstrated ability to provide high‑quality, hands‑on care.

• Excellent observation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

• Dependable, punctual, organized, and committed to consistent attendance.

• Ability to work independently while following established care plans and company policies.

• Patient, compassionate, respectful, and attentive to the individual needs of the client.

• Strong professional boundaries and a commitment to protecting client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance, if required for the assignment.

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
