Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Beverage/Cocktails Server at Vanderpump Hotel in Las Vegas to deliver fast, professional cocktail service and ensure guest satisfaction.

You will greet guests, manage orders with bartenders, keep stations clean, and promote casino events while maintaining safety and pace in a high-volume setting.

Role requires staying alert, working flexible shifts including nights and weekends, and collaborating with beverage staff and supervisors to provide exemplary service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• One-year previous high volume cocktail experience.
• Minimum of one-year customer service experience in a previous position.
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must present a professional and pleasant appearance that guests will find appealing.
• Nevada Food Handler’s Certification
• Nevada Alcohol Awareness Certification
• Union Referral

• Handles money according to procedure.
• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
• Promotes casino events and programs.
• Works closely with Total Rewards Center to promote new card sign up programs.

• Keeps assigned areas clean and empty of glasses and bottles.

• Answers guest questions and is knowledgeable about property events and attractions.
• Performs all side work at assigned station, such as stocking coffee, glasses, sugar, cream and coffee dispenser.
• Monitor and manage food cost, labor cost, and other controllable expenses within budget guidelines.
• Provides fast (20 minute or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests; carries full trays on every round.
• Take drink orders, communicate with bartenders, assist in the preparation of drinks and presents drinks to guests.
• Maintains clean and stocked workstation for the next shift.
• Handles money according to procedure.
• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
• Serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; appears in publicity photos.
• Promotes casino events and programs.
• Works closely with Total Rewards Center to promote new card sign up programs.
• Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, bar backs, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor.
• Provides personalized service and uses guest name.
• Resolves service problems according to guidelines.
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and scheduled shift.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Work requires knowledge of tray service and cocktail ingredients.
• Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Additional Requirements

• Requires standing and walking continuously with a tray up to 20lbs throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs.
• Must be able to stand for entire shift
• Must be able to access service area when picking up beverage orders.
• Must be able to stoop, bend and reach.
• Must have the manual dexterity required to write drink orders, prepare drinks and garnishes and beverage orders.
• Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
