Job summary

Bellagio at MGM Resorts International is seeking a Lounge Server to deliver impeccable beverage and bus service with grace and warmth. You’ll anticipate guests’ needs, maintain station cleanliness, and apply knowledge of liquors while ensuring a superior Bellagio experience.

The role requires 21+ years, HS diploma, and prior casino/server experience; shifts include weekends/holidays, with certification preferred. Starting rate is $14.50 hourly plus tips, with comprehensive benefits offered.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ Months of prior relevant experience as a Cocktail Server and/or Food Server in a casino/resort environment preferred.
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
• Wine and spirits certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening side duties (napkins, straws, glassware, stock and cleanliness).
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections.
• Knowledge of glassware and garnishes for each drink.
• Enter orders into system and ensure transmission.
• Assist guests with hotel services and local attractions.
• Resolve guest complaints within authority; escalate when needed.
• Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing.

THE JOB:

As a Lounge Server at Bellagio, you’ll be an integral part of an extraordinary guest experience, delivering impeccable beverage and bus service with grace, precision, and genuine warmth. THE STARTING RATE: $14.5047 Hourly + tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Complete opening side duties fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available on the casino floor
• Knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink
• Communicate order into system through Bartender; ensure transmission is verified
• Knowledge of Hotel services and features as well as local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management; notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
• Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required
