Job summary

Monsieur Dior in Beverly Hills is seeking a Lounge Server to provide exceptional service in a high-volume lounge setting. The role supports bar and lounge operations, takes orders, serves beverages, and ensures a welcoming guest experience.

This is a tipped, hourly position with options for full-time or part-time employment. Compensation starts at $18.42 per hour, not including tips, with benefits available as described by the employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of server experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with cash handling and credit card processing.
• Knowledge of wine service, especially French and Californian wines.
• Basic knowledge of cocktails.
• No high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and attend to their needs, provide menus, clearly communicate specials, answer questions, and take food & beverage orders in the lounge.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies.
• Enter orders into the POS system and process payments; deliver the check to guests.
• Perform opening/closing tasks, cleaning, and side work; keep spaces clean, sanitized, organized and functioning.
• Support the bar team by maintaining the bar, lounge, and lounge patio areas; prepare lounge mise en place.

Delaware North’s Patina Group is hiring a full-time or part-time Lounge Server to join our team at Monsieur Dior by Dominique Crenn in Beverly Hills, California. As a Server, you will be responsible for representing our restaurant and creating lasting impressions through your exceptional service, making each guest feel valued and satisfied. Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

What will you do?

• Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus, and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answering menu questions, and collecting food and beverage orders in the lounge
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures
• Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, and deliver the check to guests
• Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning
• Support the bar team with maintaining the bar, lounge and lounge patio portions of the restaurant
• Prepare all lounge mise en place and maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness throughout service

More about you

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment
• Basic knowledge of both wine and wine service, with an emphasizes on French and Californian wines
• Knowledge of classic cocktails
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
