Job summary

Coury Hospitality in San Diego is seeking a Lounge Attendant to maintain a welcoming, clean lounge environment and provide attentive service to guests. You will assist with food and beverage selections, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness and safety in all lounge areas.

The role emphasizes guest-focused service, teamwork with F&B and front desk, and flexibility to handle peak periods and events. High school diploma preferred; hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, food service, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the lounge and provide courteous, attentive service.
• Assist guests with food and beverage selections when applicable.
• Ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable lounge experience.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of lounge seating areas, tables, and service stations.
• Restock food items, beverages, utensils, napkins, and other lounge supplies as needed.
• Monitor lounge areas to ensure they remain tidy and presentable throughout service hours.
• Assist with setting up and replenishing food and beverage offerings in the lounge.
• Ensure food presentation and beverage stations meet company quality standards.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels of lounge supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Ensure lounge equipment such as coffee machines, beverage dispensers, and serving stations are clean and operational.
• Maintain strict compliance with sanitation and food safety standards.
• Follow company policies regarding food handling, cleanliness, and safety.
• Ensure lounge areas remain safe and hazard-free for guests.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage team, housekeeping, and front desk staff to maintain lounge operations.
• Support lounge setup and breakdown for special events or peak service periods.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager. Furthermore, tasks and responsibilities may be added or revised based on the volume of business and the need for the work to be completed at the present time.
