Job summary

The Lounge Cocktail Server at Caspians Vegas LLC delivers a quality guest experience with energetic service. You will actively take orders, serve food and beverages, monitor guest satisfaction, and collaborate with teammates to maintain gracious hospitality.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in a busy service role (or 1 year in fine dining), knowledge of spirits, wine, and food, plus POS/cash handling skills. Compliance with liquor laws and strong customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-year experience as a server/cocktail in a similar, high-volume restaurant environment or 1-year experience in a fine dining establishment required.
• Must have a working knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Food.
• Basic computer skills and experience with POS systems and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests in a positive, friendly manner and making them feel welcome.
• Guiding guests through all phases of their experience.
• Exhibit proper menu knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of beverages and menu items.
• Solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest.
• Check ordered items, ensure accuracy and deliver items to guests according to steps of service.
• Process guest payments by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other tender types.
• Ensure that all tables and chairs are set correctly and clean.
• Assist in running items, bussing tables and setting tables when necessary.
• Maintain table tops, floors, service areas, and POS station clean/free of dirty glasses and trash.
• Comply with liquor laws and refuse service to intoxicated guests as needed.
• Provide direction to and assistance to support staff to ensure proper service.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond appropriately.
