Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Lounge Bartender to expertly prepare and serve beverages and light meals, while upholding safety, sanitation, and hotel standards. The role involves greeting guests, taking and inputting orders, and using suggestive selling to enhance guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has basic beverage knowledge, strong English, and a willingness to learn state regulations. Past POS experience and CPR/alcohol-awareness certifications are a plus in this on-site hotel

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
1-year experience as a Server or Barback preferred but not required.
Good understanding of the English language.
Knowledge of drink recipes and beverage service standards.
Certification of liquor, wine, and food service training.
Certification in an alcohol awareness program.
CPR certification.
Ability to input data in property management/POS systems.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of the assigned work areas.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections.
Abide by state liquor regulations, especially regarding minors and intoxicated persons.
Input orders and ensure transmission verification by Bartender/Kitchen.
Greet guests and take orders, utilizing up-selling techniques.
Process payments and handle cash per policies.
Maintain tables and service areas; clean and reset as needed.
Document maintenance needs and report to Manager.
