Job summary

Padgett Law Group is recruiting a Foreclosure Attorney to join our Louisiana team as we open a New Orleans office. The role focuses on drafting and reviewing documents for supervision, organizing case files, and supporting appearances in mediation, court, and Sheriff’s Sales.

The candidate must hold a J.D. and be licensed in Louisiana in good standing, with strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and license in Louisiana in good standing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents for second-level review by Supervising Attorney.
• Organize case files, track deadlines, coordinate with paralegals and assistants.
• Shadow a senior or supervising attorney for appearances in mediation, court, and Sheriff’s sales.
• Prepare in advance of appearances and coordinate with state team.
• Collaborate with the state team and participate in weekly state meetings.
• Engage with Supervising Attorney in a weekly one-on-one meeting.
