Job summary

Adams Electric Company is seeking an experienced Energy Marshal / LOTO Superintendent to join our Mission Critical Division in North Carolina, supporting large-scale data center construction and commissioning. This on-site role enforces hazardous energy control, LOTO compliance, and electrical safety across all phases of energization.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in electrical construction and 3+ years as a superintendent or LOTO lead, with strong NFPA 70E knowledge and data center

Qualifications

• 7+ years in electrical construction or mission-critical environments.
• 3+ years as Electrical Superintendent, LOTO Coordinator, Energy Marshal, or equivalent leadership role.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale data center, industrial, utility, or mission-critical projects.
• Extensive knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures and hazardous energy control programs.
• Strong understanding of medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating energization and commissioning activities.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and switching procedures.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Energy Isolation & LOTO management on site.
• Coordinate energization activities with commissioning teams and leadership.
• Develop detailed switching procedures and energization plans for medium- and low-voltage systems.
• Support turnover from construction through commissioning and owner acceptance.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and LOTO training sessions for contractors.
