Job summary

Dalton Motors SD LLC in National City seeks a dedicated Lot Porter to support the service department. You will prepare vehicles for service, deliver cars to technicians, retrieve and park them for customer pickup, and help keep the service drive clean and safe.

A background in customer service and a valid CA driver’s license are required. Flexibility to work Saturdays and bilingual ability (English/Spanish) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have some customer service experience.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customers' vehicles for service entry.
• Deliver vehicles to technicians and retrieve them for delivery.
• Park customer vehicles in designated pick-up areas.
• Ensure vehicles pass through alignment/tread depth checks with a printout.
• Maintain a clean, safe service drive and shop area.
• Assist customers with paperwork and direct them to their completed vehicles.
