Job summary

Dalton Motors in National City, CA is seeking a friendly Lot Porter to support our busy service department. You will prep vehicles, deliver cars to technicians, and help keep the drive and lot clean and organized.

This full-time role offers hourly pay between $19 and $24, benefits after 60 days, and opportunities for growth in a team‑oriented dealership serving Toyota, Subaru, and Hyundai customers. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid California driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Must work well with others and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer vehicles for entry into the service area.
• Deliver customers' vehicles to technicians.
• Retrieve vehicles from service area for delivery and park in the customer pickup area.
• Ensure vehicles pass through alignment/tread depth check and printout is generated.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe service drive and shop area.
• Safely handle customer and dealer-owned Lot attendant vehicles and check paperwork.
