Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Shuttle Driver/Team Lead in Pensacola, FL. You will orient new drivers, manage daily vehicle flow, and transport employees to various locations while maintaining logs and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus related experience or an equivalent degree, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills. Overtime may be required, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years related experience, OR college degree with 1+ year related experience, OR 5 years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers about duties; assist supervisor in directing work.
• Coordinate vehicle flow and maintain stock/lot location logs.
• Schedule and relay assignments to crew; transport drivers and vehicles as needed.
• Shuttle employees to parking lots and remote sites; transport inventoried vehicles.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vans; ensure fuel and supplies are stocked.
• Lead the location team; uphold Cox/Manheim values and enforce policies.
• Work overtime as required by business needs.
