George’s Inc. is seeking a Lot Driver - Non CDL in the United States, Virginia area. The role requires backing trailers into loading docks, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, and coordinating with yard staff.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip checks, dock operations, and weekend on-call coverage. A high school diploma is preferred; prior yard/dock experience is a plus. The position is paid hourly and aligned with company policy.

Formación

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass MVR background check.
• Ability to pass the PIV written test.

Responsabilidades

• Back trailers into and out of the loading dock, safely maneuvering the trucks within the yard.
• Perform all pre and post trip checks as per protocol.
• Obey all local, State, Federal and DOT regulations.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Chock wheels of trailer when backing into the loading dock.
• Assist with docking.
• Inspect trailers (lot check).
• Assist jack drivers with the movement of items in the dock area, as needed.
• Only move trailer when light is green.
• Communicate professionally with all other team members, including the truck drivers.
• Weekend on-call as needed.
