Job summary

Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners in St Charles, MO is seeking a Lot Attendant to support the service department. You will assist with daily operations, load and unload equipment ( forklift ), schedule pickups and deliveries, and communicate with customers regarding repairs.

This full-time position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently with strong customer service and attention to detail while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience operating vehicles and basic equipment handling preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the service department.
• Loading and unloading equipment (driven and using a forklift).
• Schedule pick-up and deliveries with customers.
• Call customers with repair estimates.
• Stage equipment for delivery drivers.
• Maintain a professional appearance of grounds, equipment, parking lot and buildings.

Purpose: Responsible for assisting the service manager with supporting customers and employees with tasks including scheduling, customer communication, loading equipment, and perform any additional duties assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner all while adhering to safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the service department
• Loading and unloading equipment (Driven and using a forklift)
• Schedule pick-up and deliveries with customers
• Call customers with repair estimates
• Stage equipment for delivery drivers.
• Help maintain a professional appearance of the grounds including equipment, parking lot, and buildings.
• Demonstrate a constant commitment to customer service
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers and management
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products and wiliness to learn new systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Efficiently managing multiple customers and tasks
• Work independently with little or no supervision, self-motivated
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
• Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment preferred.
• Experience with basic computer functions such as email, word and excel.
• Experience working cooperatively in a team environment
• Experience communicating effectivelly verbally and in writing
