Premier Automotive BCG of Carlsbad LLC is seeking a dependable vehicle lot attendant to manage inventories and keep the dealership running smoothly. You will inspect, document, and relocate vehicles, ensuring accurate invoicing and orderly displays across the lot.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math for documentation, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and staff. This is a full-time on-site position in Carlsbad.

Responsibilities

  • Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and verify presence of listed accessories.
  • Record damages and missing items on delivery receipt.
  • Park new vehicles in assigned areas and keep lot organized.
  • Catalog and store keys; assign stock control numbers to cars.
  • Move sold vehicles to maximize space and keep lot orderly.
  • Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
  • Service vehicles in storage to protect tires, battery and finish.
  • Maintain inventory appearance and replenish fluids as needed.
  • Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice.Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt.Parks new vehicles in assigned areas.Catalogs and stores keys.Assigns stock control numbers to cars.Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order.Delivers sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.Services vehicles in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration.Maintains new- and used-vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.Makes key tags for vehicles.Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITY• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
