Job Location: Toyota of Poway - Poway, CA

Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.50 Hourly

Description

Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice.
2. Inspect vehicles to detect damage and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
3. Record descriptions of damages and list missing items on the delivery receipt.
4. Park new vehicles in assigned areas.
5. Catalog and store keys.
6. Assign stock control numbers to cars.
7. Move sold vehicles to maximize space and keep the lot organized.
8. Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
9. Service vehicles in storage to prevent deterioration of tires, batteries, and finish.
10. Maintain vehicle appearance and performance by cleaning, replenishing fluids, and replacing batteries as needed.
11. Place buyer guides and stock tags on vehicles.
12. Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and according to dealership standards.
13. Clean driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris.
14. Drive vehicles to and from service lanes, stalls, and parking lots.
15. Create key tags for vehicles.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• No prior experience or training required.
• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience; or equivalent.

• Associate's degree or equivalent; or 6 months to 1 year related experience; or equivalent.
