Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to support store operations in Columbus, OH. As a Cart Attendant, you will shuttle carts, help maintain parking areas, and assist in basic store cleaning while interacting with customers and team members.

You will experience a fast-paced retail environment and work with multiple departments to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer service.

• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment as needed.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
