Meijer Inc. is seeking entry-level Courtesy Team Members to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks. You will interact with customers and support store operations, providing friendly, above-and-beyond service.

As an entry-level team member, you will help with carts, trash collection, cleaning, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending while on duty.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsabilités

• Cart attendants move shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Sort and collect parking lot, lawn, and store trash as needed.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for storm cleanup.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Assist service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking areas.
• Collaborate with departments across Health & Beauty, Hardlines, Fashion, Pets and more.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service. What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
