Meijer Inc. in Michigan seeks an entry-level team member to gain exposure to retail tasks, customer service, product handling and store operations. You will interact with customers and support basic store duties, contributing to a friendly shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role requiring strong customer service and teamwork.
• Be highly organized with attention to detail.
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving items in a store environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist with cart handling and returning carts to store.
• Maintain parking lot, lawn, and interior store cleanliness.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment during winter (if applicable).
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrances, check lanes, and parking areas.
• Support multiple departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service. What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
