Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group in Maplewood, MN is seeking a Porter to maintain the cleanliness and readiness of vehicles and assist with transportation of vehicles and customers. This position offers values of family ownership with opportunities for growth.

The role includes keeping the lot neat, moving units, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring vehicles are clean and in good repair. It also covers vehicle pickups/deliveries between storage and other dealerships, weather cleanup, and site

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to operate an automobile.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned
