Job summary

Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment is seeking a Lot Attendant to join our logistics team in Kings Park, NY. You will receive, inspect, and park vehicles and maintain the storage lot on site under the supervision of the Logistics Manager.

Candidates should have a clean Class D license, a high school diploma or GED, and 1–2 years of related experience. The role requires outdoor work in all weather, good written and spoken English, and a team-oriented, detail-minded work ethic.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

As a Lot Attendant you will receive, inspect, and park vehicles and maintain storage lot on premises, under the general supervision of the Logistics Manager. What we require from you is:

• A clean, valid Class D driver's license.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time, in all weather conditions.
• Ability to use both oral and written communication.
• Attention to detail with the ability to follow verbal directions and written instructions.
• A team-player with a good work ethic (courteous, flexible, punctual, and professional).
• Level-headed, detail-oriented & safety contentious.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS

Education:

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• The job functions year-round with most of the time spent outdoors.
• This position requires the ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• Activities will include sitting, standing, and climbing on and off equipment.
  • These activities will occur while driving and loading/unloading.
• There will be varying temperatures based on seasonal weather.
• perform moderately difficult manipulative skills and hand-eye coordination skills, sit, and stand for prolonged periods.
