Job summary

Happy Trailers in Texas is seeking a high-energy Lot Attendant to assemble, park, and position trailers for easy access and safe movement across the lot. You will assist service technicians, inspect trailers for damage, help customers hook up trailers, and keep the yard clean and presentable in all weather conditions.

Fluent English is required, Spanish is a plus, and basic mechanical skills help as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
• Trailer experience and knowledge.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, climb, stand, stoop, and walk throughout shift.
• Attention to detail for inspections.
• Ability to back trailers and maneuver them safely in tight spaces.
• Basic mechanical knowledge/skills.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operates a tractor to safely move and position trailers throughout the lot and designated areas.
• Responsible for assembling trailers, ensuring all components are properly installed, secured, and prepared for sale.
• Assist service technicians with trailer repair, maintenance, and installation jobs as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-maintained trailer lot, including removing debris, maintaining designated areas, and ensuring the lot is safe and presentable at all times.
• Inspect trailers for any damage, defects, or missing components and report any issues for repair or correction.
• Keep trailers on yard clean, presentable, and free of dirt and debris.
• Assist customers with safely hooking up trailers to their vehicles, ensuring proper connection and secure attachment before departure.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
