Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance seeks an experienced loss prevention consultant to deliver on-site risk assessments, service plans, and expert guidance to a defined client group. You will mentor junior staff, analyze data, and help shape safety programs across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in math, engineering or related areas and at least 5 years of directly related consulting experience in loss prevention or safety.
• Advanced degree and/or professional certification in CSP, ARM, CRM, CPCU, CIH, or CPE.
• Advanced knowledge in risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management and progress measurement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with customers and peers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative services to an assigned group of customers in a specialized loss prevention area.
• Conduct on-site evaluations, create/implement service plans to control risk and costs.
• Advise and support other loss prevention staff on resources, regulations and industry trends.
• Coach, mentor and train less experienced consultants as needed.
• Collaborate with management to develop policies, tools and new products for service delivery.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to retention efforts.
• Help expand Liberty Mutual’s leadership in safety and increase brand awareness.
